The 11th meeting of the Russian-German Working Group on Nature Conservation and Biological Diversity took place in the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources on July 1. The meeting was attended by representatives of environmental agencies of Russia and Germany, the ВСС, as well as WWF Russia, Wetlands International, Russian MAB Committee and RussianAcademy of sciences.
The BCC gave a presentation on the TEEB Russia II Project : «Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services: Management Principles in Russia and international processes».
The parties praised the joint work of the Biodiversity Conservation Centre and the Leibniz Institute of Ecology and Urban Regional Development. (Dresden). The parties agreed to support further work within the framework of the new TEEB Russia 3 PROJECT.
